PROPERTIES OF SLOVAMIDS:
The SLOVAMIDS as engineering thermoplastics offer a combination of properties, including high strength (especially at elevated temperatures), toughness at low temperatures, stiffness, wear and abrasion resistance, low coefficient of friction, and good chemical resistance. Sodium dicaprolactamato-bis(2-methoxyethoxo) aluminate of the formula NaAl [N(CH2)5CO] 2 (OCH2CH2OCH3)2 has proved excelent results like an initiator of anionic polymerization and copolymerization of lactams. One of its main advantages compared to the other types of initiators is its substantialy lower sensitivity to moisture and purity of used Caprolactame.
